Certificate Maker

Create a printable certificate of achievement or completion, ready to download as a PDF.

Max 500 KB. Displays best around 300×100px — wider logos are scaled down to fit. If your logo file is too large or the wrong shape, use the Image Compressor or Image Resizer first, then upload the result here.

About this tool

Fill in a recipient's name and what the certificate is for, and get a clean, printable certificate laid out in landscape orientation — the standard format for this kind of document — ready to print or save as a PDF using your browser's native print function, the same pattern used by the invoice and receipt tools on this site.

You can optionally add your institute or organization's logo and name as a letterhead across the top, with a choice of left, center, or right placement — useful for matching whatever layout your school or organization's other documents already use. This is separate from the "Issued By" field further down, which is meant for a specific signatory or department line near the signature area rather than the top letterhead.

This produces one certificate at a time. For a whole class or team, generate and print each one individually — there's no batch/bulk mode in this version.

Useful for a school event, a course completion, a workplace recognition, a tournament or competition winner, or any occasion that calls for a simple, professional-looking certificate without needing design software.

Frequently asked questions

What size logo should I upload?

Keep it under 500 KB and around 300×100px — a wide, short logo works best as a letterhead. If your logo file is larger or an unusual shape, run it through the Image Compressor or Image Resizer first, then upload the result here.

What’s the difference between "Institute Name" and "Issued By"?

Institute Name appears at the top as part of the letterhead, alongside your logo. "Issued By" is a separate line lower on the certificate, meant for a specific signatory or department — you can use both, just the institute name, or just "Issued By," depending on what your certificate needs.

Can I generate certificates for a whole class at once?

Not currently — this creates one certificate at a time. For a class or team, fill in and print each recipient’s certificate individually.

Is my data saved anywhere?

No — nothing you enter is sent to a server or saved. Use Print / Save as PDF to keep a copy before closing the tab.

Can I add a logo or signature image?

Not in this version — it’s text only (recipient, title, achievement text, issuer, and date), no image upload.
