Create a GST-compliant invoice with CGST/SGST or IGST calculated automatically.
This generator builds a GST invoice with line items, and automatically works out whether CGST + SGST or IGST applies based on whether your business and the buyer are in the same state — intra-state supplies split the tax into CGST and SGST, inter-state supplies charge IGST instead.
GST rates follow the simplified structure effective from 22 September 2025: 0% (exempt goods), 5% and 18% as the two main slabs, 40% for luxury and sin goods, plus 3% for gold, silver, and jewellery. Pick the applicable rate per line item — the invoice does not classify products for you.
"Print / Save as PDF" uses your browser's native print function, which every browser can save directly as a PDF — no extra software needed. This tool creates the invoice document itself; it does not generate an e-invoice IRN (Invoice Reference Number), which is a separate, mandatory step for businesses above the e-invoicing turnover threshold and must be done through the official GST e-invoice portal.
The invoice number field remembers the last number you used on this specific browser and suggests the next one automatically — "INV-001" becomes "INV-002" next time, and so on. This is stored only in your own browser (not on any server, and not tied to an account, since this site has no login), so it won't follow you to a different browser or device, and clearing your browser data resets it. You can always type over the suggested number if you need to.
No. This creates a standard invoice document only. If your business is above the e-invoicing turnover threshold, you separately need to register this invoice on the GST e-invoice portal to get an IRN — that’s a compliance step this tool doesn’t perform.
By comparing the seller’s state to the buyer’s state. Same state → CGST + SGST (split evenly). Different states → IGST at the full rate.
0%, 3% (gold/jewellery), 5%, 18%, and 40% — the slabs in effect since the 22 September 2025 GST reform, which replaced the older 5-slab (0/5/12/18/28) system.
Nothing is saved automatically — use Print / Save as PDF to keep a copy. This tool doesn’t store your invoice data anywhere.
Keep it under 500 KB and around 300×100px — a wide, short logo suited to a letterhead. If your logo file is a large photo-style image or an unusual shape, run it through the Image Compressor or Image Resizer first, then upload the result here.
Only on the same browser — it’s stored in that browser’s local storage, not on a server or tied to any account (this site has no login). A different browser or device starts fresh, and clearing your browser data resets the count.
Yes — "GST bill" and "GST invoice" refer to the same document; both terms are used interchangeably in everyday business language in India. This tool handles either.
