Preview how a link will look when shared, and generate the Open Graph tags.
Open Graph tags control how a link looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and most other platforms — the title, description, and image shown in the preview card come from these tags, not from your page's regular title and meta description (though platforms fall back to those if Open Graph tags are missing).
This tool generates the tags and shows a live approximation of the resulting card as you type, so you can catch a too-long title or a missing image before publishing, rather than finding out after sharing.
The preview is an approximation — each platform (Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack) renders Open Graph cards slightly differently in exact sizing and cropping, and some cache a link's preview the first time it's shared, so a later tag change may not show up until the platform's cache expires or is manually refreshed (most platforms offer a debug/inspector tool to force a re-fetch).
Most platforms cache Open Graph data the first time a link is shared. Use that platform’s debugger/inspector tool (e.g. Facebook Sharing Debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector) to force it to re-fetch your updated tags.
1200×630px is the most widely recommended size — it displays well across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X without awkward cropping.
Twitter/X falls back to Open Graph tags if dedicated twitter: tags aren’t present, so Open Graph tags alone usually work fine unless you want Twitter-specific control.
