Run a Full Classroom Quiz Day, Start to Finish

Four tools cover the whole day: get students seated, split them into fair random teams, run a knockout bracket, and send everyone home with a certificate. Not every quiz day needs every step in this exact order — if your teams already exist, skip straight to the bracket.

  1. 1

    Arrange the seating

Randomize seats, or set "keep apart" rules for students who shouldn’t sit together.

    Open Seating Chart Generator →
  2. 2

Split the class into random teams

Set team size or team count and get a fair random split in one click.

    Open Random Team Shuffler →
  3. 3

    Build the tournament bracket

Single-elimination, round-robin, or group-plus-knockout — feed in your teams from the step above and get a printable bracket for the whole day.

    Open Tournament Bracket Builder →
  4. 4

    Break ties fairly

When a match or a bonus round ends in a tie, use this instead of picking a student yourself — it keeps the call visibly random.

    Open Random Student Picker →
  5. 5

    Print certificates for everyone

One certificate for the winning team, then run this again for participation certificates for the rest of the class — it’s the same tool for both.

    Open Certificate Maker →

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this for a class smaller than 10 students?

Yes — Team Shuffler and Bracket Builder both work with any number of participants, though brackets get more interesting with at least 4 teams.

What if a student is absent after teams are already formed?

Re-run Team Shuffler with the updated list — nothing carries server-side state between runs, so there’s no cleanup needed.

Is student data stored anywhere?

No — names are only used in your browser to generate the output and aren’t sent to or saved on a server.
