Crop every page of a PDF by trimming a percentage of margin from each side — useful for removing wide margins before printing, cutting off a header or footer band, or preparing a page for a tighter layout.
This sets each page's crop box, the region PDF viewers and printers actually display, rather than modifying the underlying page content itself. The full original content is still there in the file, just outside the visible crop area — which means cropping here is safe and reversible in the sense that nothing is deleted, only the visible window onto it changes.
Margins are entered as a percentage of each page's own width or height, so the same settings scale sensibly whether your PDF is A4, Letter, or any other page size, rather than needing you to know the exact point dimensions.
No — it sets the page’s crop box, which changes what’s visible in viewers and printers, but the original content underneath is still there in the file. Nothing is permanently deleted.
A percentage of the page’s own width and height scales correctly regardless of whether the PDF is A4, Letter, or any other size — an exact millimeter or point value would need to be recalculated for every different page size.
Not in this version — the same margins are applied to every page. If your PDF has different page sizes or needs different crops per page, process it in separate batches.
