Click anywhere on a PDF page to drop in typed text — useful for filling in a form field a PDF reader won’t let you edit.
This lets you fill in a form, sign a document, or add a note to a PDF without installing anything or creating an account with a document-signing service. Click "Add Text" and click anywhere on the page to drop a text box — type your text, and it's placed at that exact spot. Click "Add Signature" to open a small drawing pad, sign with your mouse or finger, then click on the page to stamp your signature wherever it's needed.
Everything happens in your browser: the page is rendered to a canvas using pdf.js purely so you can see where you're clicking, and the actual text and signature are drawn onto the real PDF using pdf-lib once you download — your file is never uploaded to any server. Each placement is added as new content on top of the existing page; nothing about the original document is altered except the marks you add.
This is meant for quick, one-off fills and signatures — initialing a form, signing a single page, adding a note before emailing a document — not for building complex fillable forms with dozens of fields or bank-grade digital signature certificates. If you need a legally binding digital signature with an audit trail, a dedicated e-signature service is the right tool; this one is for the much more common case of "I just need my name on this page."
Placements are listed below the page so you can remove or adjust one before downloading, and each one is tied to whichever page you had open when you added it, so you can add different text or signatures across a multi-page document in one pass.
No — this draws your signature as an image onto the page, the same as if you printed, signed, and rescanned it. For a legally binding digital signature with an audit trail, use a dedicated e-signature service.
You can remove a placement from the list below the page and add it again — there’s no in-place drag-to-reposition in this version.
Yes — use Prev/Next to move between pages, and add text or a signature to as many pages as you need before downloading. Each placement remembers which page it belongs to.
No — the page preview and the final filled PDF are both generated entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
