Equity Long-Short Fund strategy
Equity Oriented Investment Strategies · 41 schemes available
An Equity Long-Short strategy invests primarily in equities and equity derivatives, taking both long (buy) positions in stocks the manager expects to outperform and short positions (via derivatives, within SEBI's SIF limits) in stocks or indices expected to underperform. The aim is to generate returns from the manager's relative stock-picking skill, with potentially lower net market exposure than a pure long-only equity fund.
